Tiffany silver turning yellow?

My friend just showed me her 10mm silver ball bracelet with matching necklace and both had turned a strange shade of yellow. Anyone else have this happen to their Tiffany silver? How do you clean it?

Dial soap should clean it although i've never seen it turn yellow. I assume it is reacting to an oil in her skin.

Why Dial soap as opposed to any other soap? What's special about Dial?

mine does this too! only the ball bracelet though, none of my other silver tiffany pieces. i had assumed that it's because i don't wear it as often (i can't clasp it by myself, so my husband needs to be around). it always cleans right up with silver polish though.

I have never seen this with my bracelet (heart tag). I'm sure a good polish with their cloth or even taking it in for $15 cleaning will help

Why Dial soap as opposed to any other soap? What's special about Dial?

My Tiffany's always says use Dial. I have never questioned it.
