Here is my dilema:
I have always loved the blue sapphire Legacy ring from Tiffany, now I finally have a chance to get one:) and also blue sapphire is my birth stone so that make it more special. But everybody knows about the Tiffany's inflated price:(. The bargain side of me is thinking that I could get a gorgeous size of diamond ring either a cushion or pear for about the same amount money.

What would you do?
Thanks:D

Tricky tricky tricky......if you always wanted a legacy then I think you should get it.

for sure you will get a better deal for your dollars by getting a diamond ring elsewhere, but if you THINK that you might still want a tiffany sapphire legacy ring after all is said and done, then i say go for tiffanys. a while back, i compromised on something that i had wanted and my thoughts kept going back to it...and guess what, i had to save all over again to finally get what i wanted in the first place.

Another thing to keep in mind is when it comes to colored stones there are a lot of deceptive practices in the industry. For the average person who doesn't know much about gemstones going to a place such as Tiffany's is a good option because you can feel good knowing that you can trust the quality of their products.

Thank you everybody for your advice.
Why can't we have them all:nuts:?!
I will go in the store and look at the ones they got for me this weekend and decide. I will let you know what I decide.:thinkin:

I was going to tell you the same. If you don't get now what you wanted in the first place, you'll be regretting it later... So, I'd recommend you to get the Tiffany ring now and enjoy it!! ;)
