Hello all. Trying to figure out which one to get my wife. It's between these two. One is bigger but not sure based on overall design which one I should get. Any insight is appreciated. First of all, your wife is a lucky woman. Ok, let's talk jewelry. Both pieces are beautiful and you can't go wrong with either one. If she likes fancier designs, go with the left one. I personally prefer the one on the right as I like the more classic Tiffany pieces. Both would look great on a 20 inch chain.

It's also important to note that the keys are of different sizes, which may be an important point to consider over the general design differences.

The one on the left is more of a statement piece that looks great on a long chain over a black top. In contrast, the one on the right looks best on a shorter chain.

Google images of these two pieces being worn to figure out which one she'd make the most use of, given her personal style.

I think the one on the right would be wonderful to wear daily! Your wife is a lucky lady.

I have the key on the right and absolutely love it. I wear it almost every day - not every day only because I have lots of necklaces to rotate :) & receive many compliments on it. I have different length chains for different looks - it looks especially good on the 18" beaded chain IMO.

The knotted key on the left is gorgeous too, and I want this one but it is is very expensive here. (There have been several price rises since I bought my crown key.) Really I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Keys are rich in symbolism - they represent secrecy and safety to me. I often think of the Secret Garden and that beautiful garden key. Also the biblical reference to St Peter who is given the keys of the kingdom, because I grew up Catholic and it was a favourite verse for us :)

Thank you all. I went in today and let my wife try on a bunch of stuff. She loved the crown key. I was surprised because I honestly was expecting them to be bigger. Now I am looking at bigger/heavier keys however those definitely can't be everyday pieces. I really like the daisy with the 1 diamond in the center. Thanks for all the input. I am leaning towards the crown.

either way you can't go wrong - what lovely pieces. As it is a gift your wife can always exchange it for a different key ( if that is OK with you ) - you really can't lose !!
