Hi ladies,

I am having trouble deciding on which to get. Either a DBTY - yg or platinum OR a solitaire pendant.
Which would you get and what size is the best. I have a pair of diamond studs in wg, my ering and wedder are also in wg.

I love love love the DBTY in yg and in the long run I would love to get a pair of matching earrings and bracelet but I'm afraid that the yg would 'clash' with my ering and wedder.

I really would appreciate any advise as I'm so stuck on this.

Or should I go for the olive leaf pendant in yg which I love too.

Pictures would be so helpful.

I am more of a fan of the DBTY than a traditional solitaire pendant, and I am more of a platinum than YG person, just bec it makes the diamond look like it's floating. Ideally, to me, that is a style that looks best with a smaller stone. Something in the .15-.25 ct range.

I would go with the dbty style. I wouldn't worry about it clashing with solitaire style studs or your ER. this style is so delicate and simple that it would be impossible for it to clash with anything!

the added bonus with the dbty style compared to the solitaire is the bezel makes the diamond look larger

Both are nice, but for myself, if I could afford a larger diamond, I'd do the pendant.
Smaller diamonds look better in DBTY, in my opinion.

Just to add another wrench in the works...my favorite setting! A 3 prong martini setting. Good light saturation...sparkle! Similar to the DBTY solitaire without the metal and a pendant without the bale.
Just a thought.............................
Sorry, just realized you wanted Tiffany!

Ooh, love that!!

I have yellow gold diamond by the yard and I wear it with my arrow everyday. The yellow and rose mix nicely; I actually love pairing the DBTY with my atlas earrings or white gold jewelry. Maybe add a tri tone bracelet and that will incorporate all the colors.

Thank Ame, I might not be able to afford .15 but I'm looking at the .12. I haven't seen it in real life so will need to head down to a store and try them on, hopefully it won't be too small.

Thanks skyqueen. I actually do have one pretty similar to that. Just wanted a Tiffany to treat myself. :)

Does it get tangled with your other necklace? Just wondering.

Get the DBTY the biggest size you can afford with the best quality diamond. I wear mine everyday and have for years. Best purchase I ever made. Pics on the DBTY thread. Good luck!

Thanks. I'll definitely be looking at getting a DBTY. I've been looking and drooling over them for the longest time over that thread!
