I never thought about putting the "i love you" notes ring as a spacer inbetween e-ring and w-band. That sounds like it could've been really cute!! Do you have any other ideas for spacers? I know the legacy bands and metro rings are 2mm in width, but they are just diamond/gemstone rings with nothing unique/special written on them like the notes collection.

I like the design of the frank gehry torque ring w/o the diamonds, but wondering if the sqaure design would bug me.

Oooo I like the twist one! I guess the best way to decide is to try them all on with your set to see which looks best! And if you can't decide, take pics of all three/four and post them on TPF to have us help you decide hehe.

LOL about the finger swelling up comment. One time I got a too-small ring stuck on my finger, and I read online that windex could get it off, and I kept twisting, pulling, and spritzing with windex until I finally got it off after an hour. . .but I felt like the tip of my finger was going to burst (it was so swollen and red).

Anyway, back to the topic. Ring shopping is so much fun! I hope you find what you like! :D

That twist ring is really nice! I hope that it's just the right width for you, just_jill. Have you considered calling Tiffany and asking them what width it is? Your thought on finger swelling reminds me of the time I snuck into my mom's closet when I was younger and pulled out her jewellery case and put on every single ring she had. And of course, some rings just had to get stuck!

Ooo, bb10blue is right, I didn't think about that! If your e-ring is platinum and your spacer is sterling silver, since silver is harder than platinum, it could harm your e-ring. I also believe 18kt gold is also still harder than platinum (because of the alloys added to gold) but also still softer than sterling silver.

I suppose if you only wore the spacer in the different metal now and then, it will be okay, but daily wear would probably cause harm to your w-band/e-ring.

bb10blue and koh_mascara yeah i thought about that too and will likely go that route. might just do a plain spacer 1mm if my jeweler can do it. kinda wanna do something a lil funky with the spacer though not sure what yet. LOL
