I agree with Blossy. The butterfly is super sweet and adorable but also YOUNG and might not age well. However, it really depends on your personality. Personally, I'd probably get the butterfly just because I love butterflies and I don't care if it's juvenile. If you love it, get it! If you want something that will age with you, go with the flower :)

My personal preference is the flower.

The flower seems more timeless and classic, and I do prefer it (despite my love of butterflies!). I feel that the butterfly wouldn't age well, and the flower seems more mature and balanced.

I have seen the flower in real life but not the butterfly. The flower looks very classy and in my opinion, would look good when worn at any age.

However, this is purely a personal preference. I think u should try both on to see which suits u better. Have fun shopping and Show us which one u end up buying!

Thanks for all your answers! When you say the butterfly doesn't age well, what do you mean by that? Do you mean that it might not look good when I get older because it's associated with young women?

In my opinion anyway. I'd wear the flower but I think the older I got the more I'd feel silly in the butterfly pendant. However I think it's a very personal decision - many of us have the same dilemma about heart jewellery.

You're probably right. I'm a very girly woman and think that I'll stay that way because I have always been like that. For example, I couldn't imagine myself with a DBTY or solitaire necklace because it's too classy and plain for my personal taste. On others it looks great, but on me not so much.
