i would love to buy a tiffany piece. is it ok to buy silver as my first tiffany. i have my eyes on the rtt heart tag bracelet. the one that does not dangle. i tried it on and love it. but the only thing stopping me from buying it coz its silver and my husband says why silver? but the gold is a bit off my budget.

My first piece from Tiffany was the heart tag bracelet in silver and I can honestly say I wear that bracelet every single day. I think you should choose based on your skin tone. Yellow gold looks awful on me so I stick with silver and platinum.
Either way, the bracelet is a classic in silver and a piece that I will personally always cherish. As far as the price difference, I think the gold is just as hugely overpriced as the silver but typically when you buy designer, you sacrifice value.

The heart tag bracelet is a classic! I would venture to guess most people's first piece of Tiffany and Co. is silver. I know mine was: heart tag toggle necklace!
