Tiffany earring posts tarnished

Hi there,
Is it normal for Tiffany earring posts to tarnish? Do they come clean? The butterfly??backs of them are too but not the front of the backs if that makes sense, only the bit that touches the ear. Is this normal?

Yes- it is normal for posts to tarnish. It has to do with sweat and body oils on the post. It should polish/clean off.
