For those of you who got your e-ring from Tiffany did they already have your size ring or do they have to re-size. I'm kind of confused on how it all works. I thought I would ask on here, instead of emailing my SA for a quicker response. Thanks.
It depends on your ring size. If you choose the legacy, I think they could size up or size down their sample size 6 by one size. My ring size is a 4 so they had to completely remount a new ring with the ring(stone) that I chose.
Ok that's not bad. I was meaning to ask you do you have any cons about the legacy. Another poster said hers scrapped her finger, did you experience this problem?
yeah, I read that. I'm not sure how that would happen. There are no sharp edges on the ring at all. The only con for me is that the ring sits kind of high. I personally like really low settings, so it took a little getting used to.
if you only need 1/2 size down, ask them about sizing pads before they size the ring. When you add a band or two later after your marriage, itll be snugger.
When I got mine resized (to 4.5), I got it back in 2 days, but I did get my ring from the 57th St location and they only had to send it to Queens to get it done.
Fortheloveofbags-That's good to know. What do you mean by it sits high?
Ame-I never thought about that before.
Kathyinjapan-wow I can't believe it got lost along the way, that's crazy.
Ayengel-that's supper quick. I'm in Los Angeles area so I'm guessing it will take a little longer.
Do you guys think that one band or two bands looks better with the legacy.
my response is similar to everybody else. it took about 2 weeks for them to resize it and then get it back to me because it was sent to ny. it was a stock size (6 i believe) and it was resized to a 4.25 for me.
It depends what city you live in. In NY they do it on the same day.
My ring was purchased in Boston, and it took about 15 days for them to resize from the sample size 6 to a 3.75.
