Tiffany discontinuing DBTY over .17 in the UK

I was told by two different Tiffany store assistants that anything over .17 ct is being/has been discontinued, and there are no dbty’s left in the .19 to .30 in the whole of the UK. Is this true elsewhere ?.

Wow. Why would they do that? I feel that many DBTY necklaces are sold between .17 and .30. Mine is a .28. I’m happy I already have it in case they discontinue in the US.

Yours is beautiful, I wanted the .21 but think I will have to settle for the .17 ... it really doesn’t make sense

I had noticed this over the past week on the Tiffany UK website [emoji20]

Further enquiries reveal that it is true the highest ct you can get in the UK is .17
The US is not affected at the moment as their buying method is different.
