Tiffany Diamond stud the posts too long. Are mine defective or anyone else have these?

Mine are not Tiffany, but my diamond stud posts are long (multiple pairs). They’re all screw backs. I think this might be because some owners add enhancers to them and need the extra length? I just bought two pairs of VCA Sweet Earstuds and was shocked by how short they were! So maybe this is a thing with diamond studs - and diamond studs only?HiCan anyone tell me if you have the diamond stud earrings, are tge posts long? I just received my stud earrings via fed ex. I’m on the fence as the stems ( posts) are quite long? Please help! Thanks in advance
I tried on diamond studs at Tiffany and the posts were indeed very long. They said they could shorten the posts and it would be complementary, if I'm remembering correctly.
I did ask via email today and the person said they would find out. I hope so. They are beautiful but I’m not sure about such long posts?
I would definitely ask them to shorten and would not keep them if they would not be able to accommodate my request complimentary.
