Hi Ladies!

As always, I am hear to hear your words of wisdom!

So, for some amazing ... I dont know what it is, but dear boyfriend decided to allow me to pick out a DBTY necklace from Tiffany for Christmas! I don't know what I did to deserve such an amazing boy.

So, I have narrowed it down the Pendant, and I will decide on the size in store, and I feel I want to stay away from platinum

For you ladies who have it, would you recommend gold or sterling silver? I usually buy silver but I feel the gold in .05 might make the diamond pop a little more since it is tiny.

As for the size, I know we'll decide when we get into the store next week, but any personal suggestions? I've read posts and seen pictures where the .03 looks absolutely fabulous, as does the .05 and 07 for sterling silver.

Whatever looks best on your skin. The DBTY diamonds are tiny and won't always be on view.

I tried on the 32" necklaces in platinum, rose and yellow gold. Thought I'd love rose but came back to yellow, it just looks better on me, which brought out the diamonds.

For now I have a 6 diamond YG DBTY bracelet I adore!

I think in gold is nicer.

I like anything above a 0.12 around this size is where you can really start seeing the diamond and getting some beautiful flashes and sparkles :D

I have both a 0.08 and a 0.32, I wear the 0.32 everyday and layer with the 0.08 once in a while

Is there any chance of a modeling picture? Would love to see how this looks on. The .32 one.

I have the silver in .07 I think it was $400 at the time. I like it, but don't wear it a lot. I might have worn it every day if it were in gold. Silver gets dirty quickly and I don't want to have to clean it all the time. Buy whichever metal you think you'd wear more often, the bf will be happy seeing you wear his gift all the time ;-)
