Will Canadian T&Co. stores sell their jewelry at the American price?

I know this has happened with some engagement ring purchases before (from ladies of our forum!). I will be purchasing a white gold pendant/necklace soon and if I could get it in Canada at the US price, I wouldn't have to wait till my next US trip...

Any advice/info appreciated!

They might.

It really depends on the value I think! I know it worked for me and one other girl but they were fairly big (ish ... "big" is a relative term on this forum!) ticket items. I just bought one for over $15K (it was $16,800 CND and $14,800 USD) and they did go to the manager (at Bloor) and grant me the US price... I really don't think they would do it for anything under $5 or $10K but it never hurts to ask! Also they knew my original plan was to send it to NY to have it altered and buy it down there (I'd only had it flown to Toronto to see the diamonds up close)... so they knew I'd call their bluff and buy it in NY in the fall if I had to to save $2K... how much is the pendant you're looking at?
