when something leaves the website, do they usually still have some in the store?

i've been watching 4 things in my wishlist and one by one the signature stuff dissapeared. so i rushed quickly to purchase the last two items in my basket.

however, since it's too early to call my local store, i was wondering if things usually are in the store once they leave the site. it's only been off for two days.

i'm looking at this:

and the matching earrings.

i'm very sad and dissapointed because it was the one thing on my wishlist i wanted out of the 4 :(

You should check out the real Tiffany website to see if they have it. This site isn't authentic.

she never said that she was purchasing the fake stuff..it was clear from the post that she was talking about authentic stuff and if you ever browsed the real tiffany site youd know that once the item is gone you can't pull up the picture.

There is no need to be snappy and rude.

I would call Tiffs in Manhattan and see if they have it since the store is so huge...GL!

That's the one thing I really hate about Tiffany, they don't indicate at all when something will be discontinued. Normally you would be able to tell if it was a seasonal piece, or by sales, but since they don't have sales and a lot of their pieces stay within their inventory for a few years, the buyer is SOL if they're lusting after a piece and don't buy it before it totally disappears.

I can completely understand how you feel, OP, there was a bracelet I lovedddd by them that I never got, mainly because at the time I didn't have the money for it and was busy paying off my debt. By the time I was finally ready to get it, it had been gone off the website for a month or so, and I was unable to finally get it. I wish they'd have some type of indication of the website when items are about to be discontinued!

I'm sorry, I totally misunderstood. I certainly didn't mean to be snappy and rude. She was mentioning about things leaving a website, then referenced a fake site. I work in retail, and have had several conversations with people who have purchased from sites, not realizing they were buying from counterfeit sites.

^^ Toto, I interpreted your comment exactly the way you've explained it, and I didn't think you sounded snappy or rude. When I was reading the OP's post, the same thoughts that you had also occurred to me. ;)
