I think it's called the Bezel Set amethyst(?) ring. I've seen a garnet one of the same style set in 18K yellow gold

aw!! no I´m a capricorn... I´m not sure what my birthstone is, hubby just got it cuz it was the stone he liked and they had it in my size (I don´t live in the US hence I don´t have much choice at tiffany here.. also, the fact that things can be a LOT more pricier than in the US but that´s another story LOL)
I searched birthstone for december but lots of stones come up? one of them was tanzanite.. that was a purple stone too! that´s why I was wondering what stone this was. I instantly assumed amethyst but then I know zero about jewellery!
