Tiffany clasp sticking to magnet?

I bought two Tiffany pieces at the Tiffany store. The ELSA PERETTI bean necklace in 9mm and the classic bead bracelet 10mm sterling silver. I ran the magnet over both the necklace and bracelet and the clasp from both sticks to the magnet. Now if its sterling silver like they claim it is its not supposed to sick to the magnet. the clasp does say on both 925 on it. Can someone who has the same necklace and bracelet test it out and confirm if urs sticks to the magnet aswell?

You mean sticking to the spring ring? It will stick because any springs the clasps may have aren't silver.

No its sticking to the clasp.. the hook... there's more alloy in it than sterling silver.. if there was more sterling silver how they claim the clasps to be than it wouldnt stick to the magnet.
