Popped on my charm bracelet today and decided I needed to add a new charm. I have been on a very tight budget with no credit cards for the past few years, so I have not really perused the website in quite awhile. I was surprised to see how few charms are left in their website!
Just wanted to express my thoughts.
it looks like I will have to find preloved pieces now.

It could be the online store has sold out due the the lower-priced items being very popular for holiday gifts.

That’s too bad if they’re being discontinued. But my guess is the plethora of cheaper charm style jewelry like Pandora and Thomas Sabo has made it hard for Tiffany to compete. Then again, people like creating something custom and personal so higher end charms from Foundrae and Stephanie Gottlieb are doing well. I bet if Tiffany took some of their iconic symbols and lines to create unique charms, like re-works of Peretti and Picasso designs, they’d do well with them.

I think charm bracelets may be currently less popular? I have a YG clasping link bracelet, and just one charm for it. I'd thought of adding more, but as the price of gold increased, the charm prices increased pretty dramatically, while at the same time the availability of the ones I loved most dwindled. And as the price of each increased, I kind of cringed at the thought of each precious charm possibly banging into things while worn.

Are they phasing out all the Peretti charm bracelets, too? I have a Peretti YG, 5 charm bracelet on consignment (sadly a bit too big for me) and thought for sure it would sell quickly. So far, no hoards clamoring for it, and Tiffany customer service told me the bracelet had been discontinued.

Charm bracelets and charms really came back into fashion in the 90s. I loved the ones Tiffany offered then, very creative, beautifully made, and substantial. Wish I'd bought more during the 90s, when variety was abundant and prices seemed more reasonable. Seems a current lull in interest, likely charms will come back again at some point.

I totally agree with this, what a great idea!

Well said. They were definitely creative, beautifully made, and substantial. I hope they will resurge in popularity one day!
