I really want the medium heart tag charm with blue enamel on a spring clasp so I can switch it from necklace chain to my non-Tiffany chainmaille toggle bracelet, at least until I can save up for a real Tiffany charm bracelet.

Is this totally lame? Blasphemy? Will I be shamed should I encounter a fellow Tiffany fan out in the real world? :p

I wouldn't say it's totally lame. You happen to love the look of two items together and currently own both pieces from two different places. I wouldn't think twice of a Tiffany pendant on a non Tiffany chain or a non Tiffany pendant on a Tiffany chain so a bracelet should be just the same. Wear that you love and don't worry about anybody else. If it makes you happy, don't let other people take that away from you.

Thats ok.!! I put my medium blue heart on a fake thick necklace. Not planning to buy the real necklace soon!

Fake chain?? But it's still precious metal, no? As much as I love Tiffany's, they don't own the rights to all the link bracelets and necklaces out there, and the same goes for beads, hearts.etc Enjoy your pretty heart on your pretty necklace and quash those 'fake' thoughts - congratulate yourself for being price-savvy instead ;)

I've got quite a few Tiffany pendant charms which I use non-Tiffany branded chains with. I can't be bothered to switch them onto my Tiffany chains and I don't want to spend more on a chain when there are so many more pretty things to buy...

I posted pics in the Tiffany collection thread of my new charm on my non-Tiffany bracelet. The bracelet is sentimental to me, otherwise I probably wouldn't put it there. But, I don't bother getting Tiffany chains with any new Tiffany pendants I get because I'm never going to wear two 20" or two 18", at the same time. Usually just one of each so I don't mind switching chains and pendants :smile1:
