Hi all, am considering buying this bracelet but can find no trace of it on any Tiffany website and Tiffany customer services say it is not current but may be archived, have messaged the seller but no reply and the bracelet has no box, pouch or papers. It is an Elsa Peretti open heart bracelet in 18ct gold with a small diamond in each of the five hearts.

Can you get a better picture of it? I have never see one with diamonds in each heart ( and I have been buying for many years). Can you also get a close up of the markings? I want to see if it is 1980s markings.

Hi guys and thank you for your help, the seller has now contacted me now and shown that the bracelet is genuine, it was bought from Tiffany some years ago and the seller later had it customised by having the diamonds added!

Fyi- alterations to a designer piece, unless done by the designer, often bring down the secondary market value.

Please remember this when you are purchasing the piece. You should be paying less than other secondary market bracelets that are equivalent in condition and design.

I also wanted to buy this bracelet and the bracelet had no box, pouch or papers. It is an Elsa Peretti open heart bracelet in 18ct gold with a small diamond in each of the five hearts. But this was genuine I think. So you can buy it.

I have collected Elsa pieces for 30 years. They are often "retired" and then reproduced some years later. I used to panic when I noticed that a piece I had planned on purchasing was no longer available, but they all eventually came back around. Of course, if you want the custom diamonds, then waiting won't be of any help. I think this is a lesson to the rest of us to always save those sales receipts. (I have mine emailed to me so I have them all saved on my computer.)
I've also seen ebay pieces for sale at the same price of the exact same piece brand new and available at a TCO store. I have no idea how people get others to pay the new price for an older piece, but apparently they do. Of course, there are plenty of great sellers out there and many of them make it possible for people to purchase pieces they could not otherwise afford. If you go for it, enjoy it!
