Tiffany Bean Necklace--- now have no markings/ hallmark on back of bean?


When did you buy/ get your tiffany bean necklace?

I realized that now, they don't come with the Tiffany logo markings/ hallmark on the back of the bean.
It's only on the clasp but not on the bean itself.

Do you know whey they stopped doing the marking engraving??

mine has one so idk, i bought it used though so who knows how old it is.
i think its weird that they wouldn't mark them but like i said i have no clue. sorry :cry:

Mine doesn't have markings either. I bought it in Sept 2009 directly from the T&Co store.

Mine is 9mm bought in March and only has on the chain. I actually am glad of that, bec then I can wear it whichever way I want.

Okay... so so far , 2009 is the oldest bean necklace WITHOUT the markings on the bean itself.

Anyone else have a bean necklace that go farther back and doesn't have the markings?

My 18mm has markings but my 9mm doesn't. I read some where that the 18mm was the only size with markings and now none are marked.

Interesting...I recently bought an 18 mm one and mine doesn't have any markings on it either.

I bought one many years ago, I'm wearing it today for the first time in a long time. It's the medium size and says:Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti and 925. Bummer to hear they are not marking them now.
