Hello all,
I'd just like to share my experience with a Tiffany repair for their hinged bangle in rose gold. This bracelet is now currently discontinued just fyi (though I feel like they should have kept the design.)

Background: This was a relatively spontaneous purchase and if I had thought about it more, maybe I would have not purchased it, but oh well. There is a slight issue with the button on the clasp. Because it sticks out, if one were to press against it, it would open the bangle and it can fall off. It has happened to me before, but I didn't mind it too much and it was just something I was aware of whenever I wore it. Overtime, both the hinge and the clasp began to loosen. This was a piece I would take on and off before going to bed and going to take a shower so I could see it getting a bit loose over time. The clasp became so loose to the point that if I shook my arm a bit, it would unclasp halfway. I would just always push it back into place but I knew it needed to get fixed soon. And then at one point it just started falling off during daily activities and then I stopped wearing it for a while.
Later on this Forum I found out that I could send it in for not only a repair, but ask them to add on a Figure 8 Safety to the side. I believe this was thanks to @papertiger who mentioned it. I thought about it for a while. I was a bit concerned that the added on Figure 8 Safety would be a bit large and bulky and may stick out too much. At the end of the day, I didn't want it to see it sadly sitting there. I wanted to wear it and I brought it in.

Tiffany at my location does have a tendency to make you wait for a while. Whether it is a repair or checking out after purchase, no idea why.
Anyway, I explained the issue and they said they would do 3 things:
1) tighten the hinge
2) fix the clasp
3) add on the Figure 8 safety
The cost of the repair and add on totaled to $275 USD flat. I agreed, they printed out a receipt and told me it should be done by 25Nov2022 and sent me a confirmation e-mail. (I did not have to pay then.)
2nd visit - 22Nov2022
I get an e-mail of 22Nov2022 stating that my bracelet was ready to be picked up!
Earlier than what was stated, but I was happy to get it before the crazy holiday shopping of black Friday and I came in to pay and pick up.
This time I was seated quite quickly, and they pulled out my bracelet.
And WOW!
was it shiny haha. To be honest, I have never cleaned this bracelet or sent it in for a polish. It had accumulated many scratches to the point that the rose gold did not look like rose gold and more like a soft yellow gold. After the cleaning and polish it looked exactly like the day I bought it, in its beautiful rose gold color! I'm not sure how they did it, but they managed to polish out a couple of very deep scratches as well. It looked pristine!
The 2nd thing I noticed was the Figure 8 safety. It was not large or bulky at all! It was relatively small and nestled in right along the edge of the bangle.
I put it on and the hinge was no longer loose and the clasp clicked into place very securely.
I was satisfied with the repair, paid for it, and went on my day.
Overall, I was satisfied with my experience at the store and happy with the repair work + add Figure 8 safety that they did.
Price-wise, I don't really know what to expect tbh. When I first heard it, it felt a little pricey but not terribly expensive.
I will take photos and post them when I get home. (Already started wearing the bracelet again so there are probably some minor scratches on it haha.
