Hi, I saw all the lovely stuff in the "Show your Tiffany & Co. Collection" thread but didn't want to clutter it with questions..

I want to buy my gf something from Tiffany - I know she'd like the triple band bangle (here) but they do it in two sizes so I'm confused - are the two sizes to fit little wrists or big wrists, or are the two sizes just a style thing like how you can get the open heart pendants in medium or large?

Does anyone have pictures of themselves wearing one?

..Should I just play it safe and get her a pendant?

Thanks!

I would recommend either calling Tiffany customer service or going to the store. Some of the bracelets do come in two sizes to fit bigger and smaller wrists. You can ask about the circumference of the two different sizes (medium and large) because it's definitely a wrist size and not the size of the actual heart pendant. You might then look at your girlfriend's jewelry box to see if she has a round bangle bracelet to measure it's circumference for comparison with the Tiffany bracelet that you want to buy for her. Or you can take one of your girlfriend's bracelets to the store to use as comparison against the Tiffany bracelet.

I've bought several bracelets from Tiffany and have had to go with the larger sized bracelets.

Very nice choice!!

The smaller size is a 7.5" circumference and fits most women. If your girlfriend is average to small size I would recommend that one. If for some reason she was not able to fit her hand through it then she could always exchange it for the larger size. Often times though the larger one will be easier to put on but once you get it on it is too big for the wrist. In this situation it might be best to go with the smaller size and use the "plastic bag" trick. In case you're not familiar with this trick it involves putting a plastic bag on your hand and then putting the bangle on so it slides on easier.

Thanks everyone! We're miles apart right now so getting something to measure by isn't possible. I'm tempted to just get the larger one (I found out they're 8.5" so it's not like they're huge, and 7.5" seems tiny), but now I'm wondering if that bangle is too 'young' for her - she's in her late 30s.
