Tiffany and Co lobster clasp problem

So I just received the Tiffany and Co beaded bracelet in blue enamel which my friend helped me to buy from the retail store and upon putting it on I realized the lobster clasp is stiff and can't be opened fully. I tried a few times and although I managed to put the bracelet on, however the opening mechanism of the clasp seems weird. My other jewelleries with lobster clasp can be opened easily but not this. May I ask if this is normal for a Tiffany's bracelet? For reference, I got it in size Small.
Ps: there seems to be a gap at the clasp too.

Hey, it's not normal! I would exchange the bracelet. I just recently bought my mom the very same bracelet and the clasp didn't close completely, too. It was slightly bent and you could see a gap, big enough for the bracelet to maybe fall off. So I sent it back and ordered a new bracelet.
My mom also had issues with a RTT bead bracelet she received a few weeks ago. Suddenly the clasp was bent. I bent it back but now she's checking every day if the clasp is still OK.

Hey, thanks for the info. However in my case, there isn't any Tiffany retail store in my vicinity. My friend actually bought it from the store in teh state she's living in. That's my struggle now. I'm going to give them a call when I'm free to see what they can do. Btw, if I were to get it fixed after sometime, do you have any idea how much they charge?

They once told me it's 40€ and upwards to fix it. I paid 40€ in 2015 after my bracelet broke and I lost a few beads.

Yeah, give them a call. Maybe you can ship it to them and they ship a new bracelet to you! I'm not living near a store, too, and my SA already did that for me. I hope they won't try to charge you for the shipping, since it's their fault!

Thank you so much for the info. I'm already feeling much better. Fingers crossed everything goes well for me...
