I have just a regular speedy 25 (classic, I guess) and I love the size. It's awesome.
I have often thought about getting the speedy b because a crossbody would be nice, especially now that Im not hands free all the time.

I think you should do it.

To be very honest I wouldn‘t go for an Azur as a bandouliere version. I used to own the Speedy B 25 in Monogram and loved it but wearing it crossbody makes it prone to color transfer from clothes (with mono, only at the vachetta parts, but still...) and - as the speedy is quite the voluminous bag - from hitting/touching stuff while you wear it because it doesn‘t lay flat on your body.
I would love to add an Azur Speedy to my small collection but I will opt for the classic model as that one will be carried in hand and will therefore not rub against clothes or stuff. After talking to my (wonderful!) SA he also very much recommended to buy a classic if you go for Azur (although they are much cheaper!). He said he has seen dreadful color transfers on Damier Azur, sadly...

If you love it I would go for it. I have the SpeedyB 25 in monogram and just don’t like it. Not sure exactly why. The opening and the strap both bother me, not so much putting things in but finding them when they are in there. I would personally get a Petite Noe or Noe bb in DA but I prefer those bags. I think the Bandouliere gives a lot of options for carrying so would get that over the classic and just be careful of color transfer.

I've been eyeing this bag too! I have the Speedy B 25 in DE and I absolutely love it. It's a great size and the zipper opening doesn't bother me. I also love the DA print, so the DA Speedy B 25 seems like a no-brainer. However, the only thing preventing me from buying it is the amount of vachetta. I don't love how aged vachetta looks against DA. Let us know what you decide.

The Speedy B 25 in DE canvas was my first LV item and I always regretted not getting the Mono canvas instead. I hated the stiffness of the DE for that bag model and I hated the small and seemingly stiff opening of the bag as well. I really liked the natural slouch of the Mono. Held off on selling it for so many years simply because of sentimental value, but I finally did last year. It held up really nicely, though. Aged beautifully and only got somewhat dirty inside and the hardware tarnished a bit.

EDIT: Wow, I must be really tired because I just realized the topic was for the DA and not the DE... Sorry! lol. I don't know how to delete comments..
