I used to watch:
I had the Strawberry Shortcake doll.
I had the Rainbow Brite doll.
I had the My Little Ponies.
I love how they still have the Strawberry Shortcake dolls, but I hate how they changed the outfits. I liked the little ried dress! I don't want to see Strawberry Shortcake in overalls!
- Jem (As I got older I really started liking The Misfits and later The Stingers better than Jem. Jem was just so goody goody, and the others had better outfits!)
- Barbie and the Rockers
- Gummi Bears ("Gummi Bears! Bouncing here and there and everywhere!") My parents always had a glass decanter of port in the living room, so when the show was on I remember taking sips of port and jumping around the room. (What? It looked exactly like Gummyberry Juice!)
- She-Ra (one year, for Halloween, I was She-Ra and my brother was He Man!) Anyone else remember the He Man and She Ra movie? The Secret of the Sword?

Funny story about that theme song . . . my family and I were in Key West. We just finished dinner and my brother and I wanted dessert but we didn't like anything on the restaurant's menu. We decided we wanted ice cream instead and there was an ice cream store across the street and and a couple stores down from the restaurant.
On our way there we had to pass in front of a gay club. Blasting out of the doors and windows was a dance remix of the Speed Racer theme song!
