This little bag was too cute I had to grab it and for $24.99 I thought it was a pretty good deal. It was a little gnarly, but I hoped I could clean her up. I thought it could be a cute little bag for the occasional summer outing or for my daughter to use. I better use it quick while Summer is still here!

Before:
The pink suede was really gross.

The bottom was super nasty as well. (The whole bottom was disgusting but I'd already started cleaning the left side when I thought to get my camera out).

After:
The suede trim and the handles still aren't perfect, but they look a lot better I think.

The bottom looks way better, just that one dot was being stubborn.

We are bag twins! I scored this bag on craigslist and it is a lot of fun, see below for the name and other information.
LADYBUG MOTIF BOXY STRAW TOTE BAG 4439, LIMITED EDITION, 2005 (original retail price = $398.)

You can try using a white eraser on the felt or even spot-cleaning it with a toothbrush and mild soap and water. If the bag won't come clean and you don't feel that you can carry it then you might just try giving it a bath in the sink with dawn or ivory dish soap.

That is a scary thing to do with such delicate material but I have washed a lot of coach bags and they often hold up very well and come clean. I haven't washed burlap and felt yet though, good luck!

We learn from each other! I immediately thought of a post by Coach Addict because she was the person that introduced me to this adorable bag - I wish I could find the matching wristlet or shoes like she did:

Thanks for the shout-out, remember to post your summery bags in the clubhouse because summer is ending soon!

I used suede cleaner that I'd purchased awhile back to clean my daughter's boots and it worked decently well on the pink trim. Looking at yours, it looks like I need to work harder on the right leaf. I hadn't thought of white eraser but I know some use it on their fresh vachetta in the LV forum. If the suede cleaner doesn't work on the tough stuff I'll try an eraser. I might try a magic eraser on some of the tough stuff too. Overall I'm pretty happy with how it looks compared to how it did on Friday! It's a fun bag and I look forward to using it with the right outfit!
