Hi everyone! I purchased a Coach Stanton 26 carryall in black from one of their retail stores exactly a month ago and today the thread that keeps the side pinched together on the left side completely came out! I'm honestly pretty upset that I barely used the bag for even a month and it's already falling apart. I still have the original receipt and tags and everything, do you know if Coach will repair this for me? Or honestly if I can return the bag for a full refund. I've literally never had a bag start to fall apart this fast. It's pretty upsetting :(

With the new repair policy now in affect, you will be able to exchange it for a new one or a different bag with same or like value. You may not be able to get a full refund, just a store credit if you don't find anything in the store you want to purchase. It's definitely a manufacturer defect.

Ok, I'll take it into my local coach store tomorrow and see what they have to say! Thank you :)

Just a quick update! I took it to Coach and they told me they would either give me a new bag of the same style or I could exchange it for another so I ended up putting a little more in and getting the swagger bag! Thanks for all of your help!

Yeah me too! I actually tried to go to the store where I bought the bag originally but they apparently closed down this week because an Outlet opened up 10 mins away. And then the people at the outlet said I should go to a retail store because they could do more for me. Took it to another retail store today and they took care of me just fine!


I got the black swagger 27 with gold hardware. Ironically that was the bag I was originally gonna get before I decided on the Stanton Carryall xD

Hey Radhikaa, was wondering your opinion on the stanton :smile1: while you were carrying it, was the bag heavy?

I just bought one during a Macys sale and I noticed that theres a strain on the hooks where the cross body straps connect to the bag, wondering if that's a problem or the hooks are durable.

Hey Tia! So I've been using my bag pretty much every day since I got it. I 90% of the time wear it on my shoulders and I just recently travelled across the country with it too. I usually only keep my long wallet, phone, car keys, hand lotion, small wristlet and chapstick in my bag so it never feels heavy whether on my wrist or shoulder. But on my way back home recently I also added my personal Kikki-K planner and some other stuff. I noticed that it did get pretty heavy on the shoulder but the hooks still seem very stable! I hope this helps! I absolutely love the bag and I've gotten so many compliments on it :)

Yay! this helps me a lot actually. I don't want to baby this bag, I got a great deal on it and I love the color... I'm gonna stick through w/ this bag and if anything happens, I
'll send to coach for a repair or something. I can't bare to part w/ it :smile1: thank you so much!

Omg I'm looking back at this thread and I just realized you asked me about the Stanton and not the swagger! Sorry about that! The Stanton was never heavy for me actually and the smaller size was just so perfect to take out everyday. I was so bummed when the thread came out loll I might end up getting another one if they ever bring out more designs for it. How has your Stanton been holding up?
