Thoughts on Tiffany Soleste Pendant

I think it looks lovely. Have you tried the Cartier? I would pick whichever one makes your heart beat the fastest.
I prefer a halo of diamonds as opposed to a halo of metal. But the Cartier necklace is more sparkly from memory. These may or may not be details that matter to you. Have fun choosing!

I like it, but I don't love Tiffany's chains because they're not sparkly. Messika has a very similar necklace too if you love this design - Joy Round Diamond necklace. But if you're only choosing between Tiffany's and D'Amour, I'd choose Tiffany in this case. I am not a fan of D'Amour necklace, I think the setting detracts from the diamond and doesn't compliment the neck (and I have the D'Amour bracelet that I love). I'd also try on C de Cartier and Cartier 1985 styles if you're after a diamond solitaire necklace.
I think it’s very pretty, but for some reason I prefer the look of Soleste pendants that have a gem (or colored diamond) in the center rather than a colorless diamond. For a full diamond pendant, I prefer a solitaire look (either with prongs or a thin bezel).
The Cartier D’Amour will look much smaller. I own it in the large size and have some minor regret about it—it’s just so tiny to me. But the chain is undeniably beautiful.
Keep trying some pendants on (try on a Tiffany diamond by the yard too, if you haven’t already) and see what makes your heart sing. Don’t rule out Costco either—they have some pretty diamond pendants and their chains tend be sparkly too. Good luck deciding and let us know what you choose!

Thank you! I have not tried Cartier - I am not near a store which makes it difficult. Yes, I know Cartier's chain is more sparkly. I do love the halo though.
Thank you for input and suggestions. I like the most simple and classic styles - I know about the chain but I really like the diamond setting on the Tiffany.

Thanks for input! I have a large diamond solitaire (my original engagement diamond) in a pendant. I wanted something smaller and have the diamond earrings in the picture that seem to match the pendant well - the Soleste. Oh, I was looking at the large Cartier and you feel too tiny?

The Soleste does look lovely on you and does look great with your earrings. I think I am in the minority with the D’Amour—many here have the small size or even the XS and seem to love theirs. I guess I’ve just experienced the dreaded diamond shrinkage effect over time and feel that the pendant gets a bit lost on me. But it is a nice understated piece for everyday. You may fall in love!

Yes it is a yellow diamond. The yellow is a lot more intense and vibrant IRL.
