Thoughts on tiffany dbty earrings, worth it?

Hey ladies, I want to get a pair of diamond earrings but unfortunately I don't have much budget right now. I'm saving to get myself the Victoria ring I have been wanting for a long time . So I'm thinking getting the silver ones with 0.06 tw or 0.1 tw. I'm concerned that the diamonds may look too small on my ears and they wont sparkle much cuz the size. Anyone here has those earrings? Would love to hear your thoughts about them !

Currently I have a dbty necklace in YG with a .14 carat diamond. I absolutely love it. Have been wearing it almost everyday.
Since I love dbty style so much, just wondering if I should get those earrings to match my necklace as well.

I think it depends if having the Tiffany name is important to you. I love the look of the DBTY bracelet and necklace. I had some spare diamonds at home and went to a local jeweler and had a braclet with 5 .10 diamonds made as well as a necklace made with a larger diamond. I absolutely adore both pieces. Would this be an option for you? I can snap a picture of one of the diamonds in my bracelet since it is the same size you are looking at.

Have been looking at diamonds studs on overstock website . Seem that I could get a larger diamond at lower price. And lots of them have pretty good reviews .
Personally I really like Tiffany's diamonds. Even I have a dbty necklace that is only 0.14 cw, it sparkles crazy. Last year I got a pair of diamonds studs from a local jewelry store. They are 0.25 tcw however, they don't sparkle much at all. I'm just worried similar experience would happen if I got them from overstock

Btw, if I'm looking for more sparkles, should I get the bezel set or prong set? I have been doin some research, seem that prong set can maximize the exposure of diamonds which gives more sparkles? Is that true.ugh I really like the dbty style tho

regular prong settings do let in more light but so does the tiffany bezel setting because the back of the diamond is open. IMO tiffany does the best bezel and their dbty pieces always sparkle like crazy!

I have several Tiffany pieces and I hope to add more! But their DBTY pieces are soooo overpriced and so accessible elsewhere in equal quality that I do not plan to buy those there. I am buying mine from WhiteFlash as I have been extremely pleased with their super ideal cut diamonds. I'd also only consider platinum or yellow or rose gold for DBTY pieces from Tiffany or elsewhere.

They will make them with any size diamonds and will give quotes for custom. I'd like a long necklace and bracelet and have gotten quotes that are maybe a third of the price of the ones I tried on at Tiffany.

Oh, and prong set versus bezel is not relevant with high quality, ideal cut diamonds. Light is reflected from the top of the stones and there shouldn't be leakage in ideal cut stones, so light coming in from the sides is not something that is needed or helpful for the diamond to reflect light. Choose based on what you like best!

Hi, OP. I bought my daughter the YG and it is beautiful and sparkly. BUT, it's too small. It's ok for now ( she's 2) and I also don't think that you will get a bigger diamond for the same quality and price at your local jeweller. Maybe you could save up and buy the second size up? And I wouldn't recommend the silver. JMHO.
