What are everyone’s thought on the new Edge collection? Though this collection has been around a couple months, I haven’t seen much talk going on about this collection. From the looks of it, it does seem like their target with this collection is a bit different from their other new collections and aiming for a Schlumberger alternative.

I really do like their Bypass ring and love the details of mixing gold and silver metals like their Schlumberger coutnerpart.

I feel like they didn't market this collection as much as their hardware and their lock collection, which is interesting.

But I can kind of see why. It's an all diamond collection and quite expensive. It's not easily advertisable to the more "general public".
The cheapest item is $5500. Not easily something most people can drop money on.

Other collections have all gold versions of their pieces which is something that is much easier to handle.

Overall, I don't mind it. I like more industrial, clean and simple jewelry for more everyday wear. And I can kind of see this as being relatively compatible to their lock collection.
It's the price point that I'm not fond of. Tiffany is known for their diamonds and I think they're really trying to move more into genre that since they can also put a higher price tag on their diamonds as well.
If LVHM is looking for more exclusive clients who may not buy a lot but will buy 1-2 very expensive items, then this collection is probably for them.

I like it a lot, but certainly price point isn't for the faint of heart. Looking at these photos I think the design is less successful in the smaller items (ring + hoop earrings) where the the yellow gold is more prominent.

I agree with you 100%

It’s the price point that i can’t really accept for such designs. To be honest, I don’t see anything spectacular or groundbreaking for this line.

I quite like their small pendant but it was priced insanely to almost ~USD15k when it was launched! I was comparing T1 Circle pendant small size, Schlumberger pendant vs. Atlas pendant; those with almost similar design and Ct weight

I ended up getting small T1 Circle pendant which I found unexpectedly during my trip before the price increase in RG, though my 1st choice would be WG similar to Tiffany Edge.

Just posting here some of the collection my SA showed last year in case someone is interested

I’m not really a fan. At first glance it reminds of Philippe Chariol and some yurman albeit far more expensive
(ducks and hides lol)

But, nowadays, I rarely wear white gold and diamond jewelry, and I prefer all metal for industrial modern designs

I think the design is very average. I guess it’s a more timeless and clean look, but I would prefer it to have more unique design elements. Generally, I’m also not the biggest fan of round diamonds. Maybe if they had used alternating baguettes or princess-shape diamonds in the pieces, I would like it more.

If this collection stays around for the next 20-30 years, I could see it becoming a classic once it gains more ubiquity. There’s nothing about the edge collection that’s too offensive. It’s just a modern looking diamond line that’s easy to wear with small hints of design. I could see people buying the bracelet if they’re looking for a line bracelet that still has some branding. It’s more neutral than Victoria.

It's true, Emerald-cut , Asher-cut or baguette channel set would have been amazing

Oh my gosh yes you are right baguette cuts of diamonds would look so cool and sculptural.

This design is nice but it really reminds me of the ‘modern’ fashion jewellery brands like breil were putting out in the 90s. The whole design two tone bypass is very 90s minimalism. If it had more sculptural diamonds it’d be a bit more art deco.
