Thoughts on this new clutch/chain

I think it’s trying to be too many things at once, but I do agree it’s really got a vintage vibe which is quite nice however I think sometimes more is just more. I think with either just the gold handle or the front pocket but not both.

I was excited to try it on at the store. I thought I would love it but I just... didn't. I'm having a hard time articulating why. It looks very formal when worn, so it didn't feel right for my daily activities. It also has a business feel to me... except, it's too small to fit anything for the office. It also didn't seem to be the right shape for formal events, where one would typically wear a clutch. So I wasn't sure where I could wear it.

But, you do you! If you love it and it makes you happy to look at and wear, that's what is most important!

Thank you- totally agree. I went into the boutique and tried it on- not sure what or how I can fit it into my life. I am a busy working mom with teenage boys and I don't think this bag fits my life- lol! I guess I was bored with classic chanel and it had my eye but now I am good and back to "practical"- lol!

I absolutely love it! I don’t really do black bags so I purchased it in the light grey. Although, Im not one that needs something to “fit my lifestyle”. I don’t mind taking a fancier looking bag to the mall or the football field. I’ll also wear an outfit that people deem “going out” on an ordinary day. I just do whatever feels good. And this bag felt right. I needed something for every day. Just big enough to throw my normal stuff plus a book and maybe a small cardigan in without being enormous. This was the perfect size. Love that it is a crossbody and unique enough to stand out without being too crazy. I’ve worn it for a day and already got compliments everywhere I’ve gone!

Oh….I never saw it in light grey! Bet it is gorgeous
