I'm sad to report that my beloved Neverfull GM DE has significant cracking on the straps and trim after only nine months. It's currently being repaired by LV for free. I am debating what to do with it once it comes back. In the meantime, I need a large tote to fill the void while I wait 6-8 weeks for the repairs to be completed. I purchased this bright coral red ("tangerine") leather "Isabella" tote by Annabel Ingall. The size and shape are comparable to the Neverfull and the leather is really beautiful--supple, thick, and luxurious. The hardware is really lovely, as well. I also like that this is not a bag I'll see everyone and their mother carrying. I would, however, like to get some feedback as to whether you think the color is a bit too loud given the large size of the bag? I personally adore the color, but the SA at Bloomies made me a little paranoid, as she was actively trying to talk me out of it in favor of a neutral gray shade. The vibrant red color makes me so happy when I look at it--am I crazy lol? I wear a lot of black, white, and gray, so I like to add color with my accessories.
