I think it's all about how you would style this bag.

You could go 'pretty-pastel-pattie' 'Barbie-girl-cute or 'Scandi-rock-chic', but YOU have to be able to make it work.

If you're already dreaming, maybe you're already visualising of you wearing it - which is a good sign.

It will not stay pristine though, light denim never does (and that's part of it's charm)

Well. I, too, am warming up to the idea of a Chanel denim bag. But in the 19 style and darker denim. I think there is also a similar style in WOC which I've seen somewhere on YouTube. It's adorable.

I would be wary of light denim for fear that it will show dirt more easily and also because I wear darker denim in general. Something to think about.

If you have never had a denim or fabric bag before, I'd say think about it.

I decided to try a denim bag (YSL loulou puffer) about 1.5 years ago, and I realized that:
1) I do not reach for non-leather bags
2) I don't carry fabric bags in the rain
3) I get more concerned about fabric bags getting dirty (which results in #1)

I am also not the type to baby my leather bags. I put them on the ground, dropped food on them, had them scrape against walls and doors, bring them out out in the rain, etc.

But I've met my limit with fabric or at least denim bags. It's just not something that I can handle comfortably without much concern atm.

Just some food for thought. It is a cute bag, but probably something I'd admire on a far or on other people.

Yes! I have like 10 different outfits in my mind that I’d pair it with! But you said it will not stay pristine, how so?

Interesting point! I do have a few fabric bags, dior book tote, prada nylon bags, etc! I do however baby all my bags lol! I’m curious to know though how it ends up getting dirty! In your experience, what causes it?

Hey all! what do you guys think of this bag? I believe it’s from last years spring collection? I kind of hated it at first but then I saw they had a mini one and I’m so obsessed! debating on purchasing for spring but I’m unsure since this would be my first denim bag!

I think over time the darker portion of the quilt denim shade will fade and it will just become one tone. If you are ok with that and baby your bags and you can't stop thinking about it..go for it. Sometimes we ask for reassurance just to justify what we really wanna hear..which might be get it if you love it and can see yourself using it.

Well for me it didn't get dirty because I basically didn't take it out (maybe like 5 times) because I was afraid of getting it dirty. :P lol

I love the look of a denim bag but I'd go with the dark wash, not light. I worry about spoiling it with stains like food, coffee or wine spill!! And unlike leather, fabric cannot be cleaned so I stay away from it.
