Thoughts on the Jackie 1961 chain wallet ?

Anyone have this bag? Any idea if a phone would fit inside? I’m looking for a clutch primarily for dressy events but with versatility for casual use.

The other bag I am considering is the Dior lady pouch. I would be open to any other suggestions

Not helpful because I don't have one, but I haven't seen that wallet on chain before - I love it! I think the Lady Dior is nice but the smooth leather with the gold hardware would be my choice for an evening bag. I think the warm taupe seems more casual so maybe that is why I'm having a hard time comparing.

I posted on your other thread but I do have the Jackie WOC and it does fit my samsung galaxy s21+ so should accommodate almost any phone. My vote is still 100% Jackie!

For me, the two big deciding factors with these types of small, clutch bags is the closure and the interior. I can't deal with a closure that's too fussy. As lovely as it is, that piston might frustrate me a bit. Also, although it might be called a "wallet on chain," I don't actually want that. It's okay if it has a slip pocket and/or a couple of card slots. But really, I just want an open space I can put my card holder, phone, and a lipstick.

Both of these are lovely, and so classic and classy looking! I do think they both will work well for day and night, too. So, perhaps try and figure out which one would be more practical for your use.

I have this bag and I love it. It fits my phone (iPhone 12) and some essentials. It's very elegant and versatile. Highly recommend it.
