Hello!

I dropped into the Coach outlet to do some Christmas shopping (stuff for nephews etc), and impulse purchased the Ava Quilted Chain leather tote for a pretty good price (just under $150Cdn or about $110US).

I know it's an MFF bag, but it seems cute, and the leather is soft. I'm thinking of either gifting this or keeping it as a back up on days/places I'd rather not wear my Chanel tote. (I currently use a nylon Longchamp LePliage on those days)

Thoughts? Does anyone have this bag and how has it held up so far? Is this a remake of a previous FP bag? Does it look like an MFF bag?

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

Reminds me a bit of the FP Sophia tote. The only thing I run into with these totes is the stress the chain puts on the leather strap which can cause peeling of the edge stain. For the appeal of the bag and especially the price I would hang on to it and use it as your back up!

Thanks for the info. The price was definitely too good to pass this one up!

I'm not on here much anymore, but saw this and had to comment, because this was my unexpected one true love. I got this bag for my birthday at the end of 2015, and I've been carrying it ever since. I travel extensively for work, and this bag looks just as gorgeous today as it did the day I unwrapped it. Along the way, I bought the black pebbled Carrie as a large wristlet, the full size zip around wallet, and most recently the black and ivory tassel from the outlet to complement this amazing bag. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I love mine!
