Thoughts on Tacori's New 'Promise Bracelet'

I just got an email from Tacori announcing the release of their Promise Bracelet. It's a collaboration with Tacori and Wendy from the blog Wendy's Lookbook. Thought I'd share and see what you ladies think. I actually love the concept of it, but not sure if I'm in love with the design. It comes in solid silver for $690, mixes of silver and rose/yellow gold for $2,390 and solid yellow or rose gold for $5990. I like it. It's not as industrial as the Love bracelet, although it's the same concept, and offers an all sterling silver version for those who cannot afford the Love's price tag.

Don't really like it. The daintiness to me kind of conflicts with the message of "locking up" a lover. What makes the LOVE bracelet work is that is a strong industrial design, which is in perfect harmony with the message. The daintiness just doesn't work here for me.

I think it is a cute idea with the key and all, but it does look like they picked too many concepts and threw them on a bracelet. I think I would've appreciated something less showy and more streamlined. I'd need to see it in real life to see if it looks better in person.
