I do like the organic style of rough diamonds but I don't know if they're much cheaper, judging by the prices of some of these:

They are VERY pretty but for the price I'd rather have a polished one.

I love this look - very cool and not so 'see it on everyone' look. Another great look is the diamond slices. A co. from NJ - S&R - has some really lovely collections using the slices. The diamonds are of all colors too.
