It’s honestly a pain in the butt to remove your passport from the cover every time you go through immigration. I recommend the Hermès Tarmac passport cover, which is much more practical (though it is admittedly more basic than the LV one).

My husband and I got each other LV passport holders for Christmas about 5 years ago now. Mine is Mon Monogram and his is in Taiga leather. We travel a fair bit and both still use them and love them. You only tuck the back sleeve of the passport into the holder so it's no hassle at all to remove it from the holder when you need to go through immigration. They've also both held up really well over time and we find the card slots on the left useful for things like frequent flying cards.

I bought my husband a pocket organizer. It’s well constructed and practical for everyday use as we’ll as minimizing and understated. Hoping he loves it. GL with your decision.

I checked that out and looks like a good one but he has small wallet very similar to that,
So this time i wont buy that but thank you:)

Yea! I think its very easy to use .;) thanks! Will get him monogram eclipse one! Glad to know its been holding up very well!

If he travels a lot yes. If not, I think a pocket organizer or key pouch is a great XMas gift  You can hotstamp his initials as well :hbeat:

yes he does travel frequently because of his work!

The key pouch he doesnt like but i actually want that one for me hehe

And they updated the design last year, so getting the passport in and out is way easier now.
I have the old version though.

yes, definitely , i tried to put my passport and it was very easy to take it out! Good that they updated!

I posted this in the Goyard thread as well, but curious what you all think of the LV passport cover, particularly as compared to the Goyard Grenelle passport cover. I love the different color options of the Goyard, but the pricing (~$700 USD currently) is much higher than the LV passport cover, priced at $370 USD for their monogram canvas passport cover, and higher than comparable options from other luxury brands. Does anyone have the LV or Goyard passport cover / have thoughts on which is the better buy, taking into account value for money, quality, functionality and style? Thank you in advance!

I had the passport cover a few years ago when I went to France and Italy, and it is a pain to constantly take in and out, so I ended up selling it. Just wasn't worth it to me. I most likely won't get another one, and I'm planning on going on a cruise to the Bahamas this spring break and to Portugal in the summer of 2025, and would rather just have it by itself.

The newer versions are easier to use. I personally use the medium pouch from the Kirigami set as a passport cover when travelling...It can hold up to 4 passports comfortably just to give an idea of how much it can hold if you were travelling alone and needing it for just one passport.
