Thoughts on omega style necklaces?

Hi! What are your thoughts on omega style necklaces? I saw one in a jewelry store yesterday and really like the way it sat on my neck. I have a very uneven neckline due to surgery in that area, and necklaces often sit assymetrically, especially shorter ones. But this one actually held its shape AND it lay nicely against my skin.

Are omega necklaces "in," "out" or are they a timeless, classic style?

I have been wondering as well as I still have mine from the early 90s. I have seem them billed as “torques” recently. Or perhaps a torque just looks similar. At any rate, the collar look is in, from what I can tell.

I think they’re timeless. However, whilst they are lovely necklaces, be aware that if you were to get it twisted up, then chances of a jeweller repairing it back to its original shape are slim to none. Best thing to keep it safe is when you store it, keep it in the original box it comes in.
