I guess it depends on what size you're looking at. The regular Soft Boroughs in nappa for $468 don't seem bad.
Right? I personally think $658 for the large soft boroughs is a very fair pricing. To each her own.
I really want the black Borough with the grommets, but $800 - OUCH. That's like 3/4s of DragonCon right there.
And yes, I know I'm a hypocrite and paid that for my AW Iridescent Rocco, but no one else did rainbow iridescent hardware ever and grommets are going to be the next thing when studs fade out.
I miss PCEs.

I've seen the new floor set and I think it's a breath of fresh air, Finally, some new design elements are rendering entirely new things, which people want. There are some cool duffles, messengers, beautiful structured satchel bags that are at once classic and fashion forward together. The hardware elements, chains, and some leather in metallic - all things that evoke a tactile response to these when used to create some beautiful bags. Finally, hello Soft Borough. Why didn't they make you first? I'm sure we'll split down the middle on this one - those who love their Boroughs more structured, and with compartments/sections, and those who sigh contentedly and reach out for these new Soft Boroughs. And I am firmly in the Soft Borough camp. I do love my Medium Oxblood Borough and am so glad I own it, and will always work it into the rotation. I enjoy her fine leather and good lining, her black handles and strap. But Im thinking I might really be a Soft Borough girl. That type of back is so much easier for me to us, than the regular Borough as I'm not drawn to bags with compartments.
Well said! I think I'm a soft borough girl, too ... even though I just got a large black pebbled (at a discount) for an upcoming trip - but the thing I liked about the large is that it gets a little slouchy with use!
I love the design direction and haven't been in to the store yet to see everything but I'm really excited and hope Coach does well with this.
I think I'm in the minority...I don't like anything except a few of the smaller bags which I don't need anymore of in my collection. It makes it easier not to buy when there's no PCE. Hopefully I can enjoy what I have and maybe some reveals/mod shots will change my mind on some of the bags.
What I'm really waiting for is when the big designs come out in September that were in the runway show. Unfortunately those bags are going to be pricey I think. I have a Coach credit that's itching to be used and I have to at least wait another month to see the full reveal of the fall things to make an informed decision. I'm thinking of the all black Rhyder 33 because it's a style I am attracted to in a color I won't get sick of, but we shall see! 
I was just at a store near me and saw the new floor set, very nice collection. I am in love with purple iris colour and I'm tempted to get the baby bag in this colour. I am loving the borough with the grommets...I agree the price is very high, but it is beautiful. I heard there is a PCE coming in September so maybe those will have to wait until then.
Did you hear about the PCE from your SA? It looks like the opinions are divided, as to whether there will be more PCE's in the future; guess we'll have to wait and see about that.
It's pricey and I initially thought it was the large, not the medium size so I may pass on that one. The soft Borough in the olive/grey/green color is the prettiest of the soft ones I've seen so far. September sounds about right--especially since there are a lot of Friends & Family's sales going on at department stores around that time.
I am sure that the SV bags will be excluded though...hate those exclusions!
