Thoughts on moissanite?

I love how sparkly the moissanites are but the prices seem really high for "alternatives" to diamonds - are they worth it?

IMO, one would have to be smokin' something to buy moissanite at those prices. A signity cut cubic zirconia will do just fine as an imitant. As far as imitating a diamond, moissanite might fool some (just as cz's will) but it will never fool a jeweler or someone with a trained eye- despite what the ad's claim.

I say if you like the way something looks ~jewels or bags~ then it's worth it ! Buy what you like , if the sparkle makes you happy
