Thoughts on Cannes?

I like my cannes, but I rarely ever use it. If it weren't LE (giant cannes), I would have sold it by now. I organize my things in pouches, and even though cannes fits my minimal essentials, there really is no wiggle room. When it's that time of the month, I can't even fit my pouch for feminine products. For reference, I carry a cosmetic pouch, compact wallet, sunglasses (in summer), and car keys with bulky keychains.
When there are items in the bag, it doesn't really roll around that much. If you play with the bag in-store/at home, make sure you put some things in it. Otherwise, it will roll around the hip a good amount.
I personally don't have an issue with the zip closure, but some people don't like that they have to hold the bag when unzipping. Don't get cannes if you want a bag that's easy to open and close, whether standing still, or walking.
I think the Cannes is a beautiful bag, love the shape and it's so unique. The only downside is that when I used to wear mine crossbody, it bounces around a bit because of the shape.
I love the Cannes but have yet to get one. I especially loved the giant mono one that you got. That is definitely a special piece and very unique. Have only seen one of them ever where I live. If I had know I would of definitely got got that one!!
I had the mono reverse cannes and I loved it but it really wasn't functional for me so I sold it.
I don’t use mine often, but I still have it (giant mono). I wouldn’t say I “love” it, but I would definitely miss it. It’s not the easiest bag to use, but since mine is a LE piece, I’m willing to put up with it. It’s definitely a statement piece, but it’s not a loud one. You can easily dress it up or down, but it remains a feature without ever actually taking over your outfit.
My biggest pet peeve is how it flips over when filled and worn. Other than that, easy to use. My zippers aren’t stiff, but I know that some people have trouble with their cannes zipper.
Since you’re on the fence about it, I would consider if you are 100% hands free with your crossbody bags. You will need two hands to zip/unzip this bag, sometimes clutching it against your self if you don’t have a table to set it on. If that sounds like it’s too much for you, you will not like this bag. If that doesn’t bother you, then know that you’re getting a bag that will get you compliments.
