I really like the look of this Cecyle bag; the quilting is a signiture feature of Bally. Many of bally’s styles are pretty unique.

As a brand famous for its shoes Bally has excellent leather and great craftsmanship. The one Bally bag I have did have some hardware issues but the store helped me to replace the hardware at no cost and paid for the shipping both ways so I’m happy with the solution.

Sometimes their bag designs are not the most practical. However I guess nowadays bags serve more as accessories so impractical designs might be less of a concern. Another point is that their bags are not the most popular and many designs only survive for a couple of seasons, which will reduce their resale value.

My experience is before the acquisition by a Chinese company but I hope this would not affect their manufacture. I would suggest to check the bags in person or order from a vendor that has great return policy.

Thanks so much for all the great information

I did go out and buy the bag yesterday. It is so beautiful! Really sturdy and the studs are really subtle and pretty in person. The hardware clicks into place really nicely and easily... I think it might be magnetic. I love the size too.

It does have two open compartments - so that might be a disadvantage for some people. I will probably zip my card holder into the pocket, put my phone in the part with the covering that clicks in place into the keyhole, which is quite secure. I'm not quite sure what do do with the last compartment. I suppose it can be used for stuff like gum and bike lights and stuff where I won't be bothered if it happens to fall out - but yeah that isn't ideal. It is lined with something that looks like canvas on the inside.

The adjustable strap was SUPER hard to change length! The buttons just wouldn't budge. Maybe they will loosen up with time, but I definitely don't see myself changing the length often.
