Thoughts on a Vintage Hermes Kelly lock

Hi everyone,
I'm new to Hermes and don't know too much about the brand yet especially really vintage pieces. A bag I am looking at buying is from 1976, a Box Calf Kelly 28 in dark brown and it seems like a great price as I am not willing to spend near $10k for a bag. This bag is $5,800 Canadian. My concern however is the lock. I'll attach photos and you'll see my concern with the engraving. I know I can use the authentication thread but I don't have a lot of photos as of yet from the seller so I am really just looking for thoughts on this vintage piece if anyone knows or has seen a lock engraving like this. Thanks for any help ladies!lock.png keys.png pic.png

The knowledgeable TPF members don’t do any authentication outside of the following thread. Please refer to rule #1 for guidances. If your posts don’t get answered... refer to post # 13090. Then you should seek for a paid professional authentication service to have a peace mind. Good luck.

BTW, why don’t you wait til seller to send your more photos? Your current TPF status may not qualified to get free authentication, if you like the bag and it’s price, I think spending a small price to have it done professionally by a paid service is totally worth.

I appreciate the response very much. I know I need several more photos to even post in the authentication thread or I just won't be answered. I was more looking for thoughts from people who own a Kelly bag from the 1970s who may have seen this type of lock but I understand it won't be authenticated here. Like I said I'm new to this forum and also to Hermes. Sorry to bother anyone, I'm still learning on here lol

I am not a professional in the area nor have experience with vintage bags.... however even that is an authentic key set doesn’t mean the bag is...and vice versa....hope this helps..:hugs:
