What a tough decision, but my gut reaction is I like the look of #2 more. I like the hardware on it.

Just to add to the second one, I went to the boutique again and was taken by that bag again.. and tried it on my shoulder and it definately fits.... I think the only issue with practicality would be the turnlock.. but not that big of a deal.. it is a really pretty bag!! Love the buckles and the leather trim

The chelsea-love turnlock closures, but do wish, as momo43 stated, it was in the darker brown...I'm a fan of that. Very nice bag!

I currently own that chelsea satchel and love it! I use it everyday and it fits EVERYTHING! It's also not heavy (surprisingly). Very classic style and you'll still like it later on...unlike the trendy styles...I have 4 other trendy coach purses from 2 years ago and they just sit in the closet now
