I bought the Small one in a grained leather but returned it. It just did not look right. It might be more durable than lambskin (hard to say because it was way softer than Chanel's caviar leather) and it looked harsh and not as attractive. I would stick to a classic look of lambskin.Should I get the Lady Dior small in lambskin or the new grained calfskin leather?
Thank you for the insight. Do you perhaps have any pictures of the bag before you returned it?I bought the Small one in a grained leather but returned it. It just did not look right. I completely agree with daisygrl, re: just not looking right in the grained leather.I bought the Small one in a grained leather but returned it. It just did not look right. Same! I think it’s worth getting the lambskin for the look because it withstands more than you think.I'm very intrigued by the caviar-ish leather but haven't seen one in person. FWIW, my lambskin version has not been delicate at all.
I’m so glad you’ve posted this so I can see the difference. Also how it looks against the hardware is good to see. Here is a picture I took when I was in 30 Montaigne Paris a few months back. This is the medium size though but you get the idea. Got my mom the medium lambskin. I think with lady dior the lambskin looks better. And I agree with others caviar didn't look right on the lady dior and this is coming from someone who prefer classic flaps in caviar.
