Thought on this pink Prada bag?

What are your thoughts on this bag?

Was not in the market for anything but noticed it when I was checking out at the outlet yesterday (bought shoes) and thought it was kind of cute.

Original tag said price at boutique had been $4500. Outlet price was $2250 with additional 10% off, bringing price down to $2025. I saw one online in excellent condition for $1400 with coupon.

Would I be buying just bc I think I'm getting a good deal? Or is it worth getting? Cant decide if its fresh or just meh. I have several pink bags and I have several Prada bags but none that have the triangle logo. Probably shouldn't be buying anything that isn't spectacular at this point but hate to pass up a good bargain lol

I personally really like it! Very neutral color. On “trend” but also very classic imo.

Yeah I can't decide if I like it or if it bothers me. I feel like if I'm this undecided, don't bother. But on the other hand, I feel like if I'm still thinking about it..... lol

It doesn’t sound like you love it. The recent crinkled leather bags were very expensive I remember. I have an old crinkled Prada leather bag I haven’t worn in a while but it has lasted many years. Purchased years ago on sale at Saks for something like $450. That’s how’s much prices have increased. I actually think the bag you purchased is really cute. But if you’re not in love, not worth the price.

Not keen on the creasing, especially on the strap, I think that it makes it look a bit tired before it's even been used.

You want to be excited by a purchase; it's not a bargain just because it's had a reduction in price, it's only a bargain if it's a bag you wanted previously or have come across, and it's now reduced to a suitable price for you.

Yes. I posted photos on here years ago. It’s not same bag as posted in this thread but it’s similar to a recently released Prada. Let me see if I can find post.

It’s a gorgeous colour, but I think the crinkled look will date - it’s the kind of style that I can imagine you perhaps getting bored of quickly over time, and it doesn’t sound like you absolutely love it - so I don’t suggest going ahead with it.

It does look like it slept in a bit too late, after partying hard the night before. -the strap- looks awful, to be honest.

Not a fan of the leather. To me it looks like someone put it in the washing machine.

Not saying this is you, but it sounds like a lot of the decision rests on it being a bargain, not on something that was on your wishlist originally. It's neither a planned purchase nor spontaneous, 'love at first sight, I think you should pass.
