Thought on Kooba Sloane?

I had a black Sloane and sold it for that very reason. It is a heavy bag empty. When you put your stuff in it, it's REALLY heavy. The Carla is another heavy bag. I finally ended up with a Ginger and have three of those, chocolate and camel suede and black leather. It also has side exterior pockets which is now almost a pre-requisite for me.
I think that most of the Koobas out there have weight to them, but I believe the Sienna is the heaviest, in my opinion. The leather on these bags is just so substantial! Especially on the older ones.
Wow, I have the Sloane in Forest suede and LOVE it! In fact I wasn't sure about the style but once I got one, I adore it and want another! I workout a lot so I don't really think they're that terribly heavy - besides I look at it as extra exercise and we women in particular need weight bearing exercise (see another good reason to buy Koobas!) LOL!!
