Yes, my marron 04 twiggy is the best of all the 50+ bags I've seen. It is like smooth wood grain that has been sanded silky smooth lol. I dn't even have the right words.

I got this 04 eggplant City last year and it came with a perfumey smell as well. I thought it was the way it was kept and sent it for cleaning, but the perfumey smell was still there. I have since bought other 04/05 bags, and some of them have the same perfumey smell, so I think it is inherent in some of the older leathers.

i do smell a slight perfume mixed with spearmint gum on my twiggy. hmm. i just always thought the perfume was from me...maybe, maybe not. the spearmint is definitely from my chewing gum habit.

At Lovin My Bags they sell "Odor Out Bag Candies" that are supposed to remove odors from bbags. I've never had a reason to try them yet, but it might be worth a shot!

Yes, I agree that the 04 maroon is the best leather of them all. silky, thick, smooshy, buttery.

interesting...guess some of the older leathers have that smell.
