I could have posted this in Cartier or under Michele watches..... but I thought I’d see what kind of response I’d receive here. Is it unwise to put my new Michele next to my WG love bangle? I see many bloggers and photos of this combination on Instagram. But I’m a little nervous about scratches. What do you think?IMG_7755.jpg

Your bracelet already looks scratched so perhaps it’s not an issue. However, Michele steel is not a very high grade so it will be prone to scratches. I don’t think they look all that great together anyway.

Yes. I appreciate your honesty. I cannot believe how much my Cartier is scratched.

It cant be helped to get it scratched no matter what you do. I have a white gold bangle i never took off for 3 months straight and no matter how careful I was, and I didnt even put any bracelet or watch beside it, it still managed to acquire a lot of scratches. You can have that buff but youll risk removing some of the gold. Cartier recommends only 3 buffing in a life time.for me, if that was mine i wouldnt mind the scratches. Same as my trinity ring having a lot of scratches. I used to freak out when i see a new scratch now I dont care.

Sounds good but this is dilemma. I am right handed and therefore wear watch on left wrist. I’m afraid if I switch Cartier to right wrist, it will really take a beating. Do any of you right handed women wear a watch on their right wrist or is that awkward?

I'm right handed and wear a watch on my right and wearing Cartier bracelets on my left. It doesn't feel weird as I have been wearing watches on my dominant hand since elementary school. It might take you sometime to adjust and get used to it if you want to switch wrists.
And I prefer not to stack a watch w bracelets.

If you like your watch, don’t wear it with any bracelets. The Love is heavy and will scratch the watch quite a bit. I would wear the Love on your right wrist and don’t worry about any additional scratches caused by wearing it on your dominant hand. [emoji4]

I’m right handed and wear my watch on my right wrist because I wear a jade bangle or other bracelets on my left wrist.

This combination looks nice to me. I feel that scratches are inevitable and even if you do not wear your watch and bracelet together, your watch will get scratched with daily wear too, regardless on whether it is on your left or right wrist. It’s a very pretty watch, btw!

I have a wg Love bracelet too, and it's really kind of dull looking with a couple of scratches. I'm considering having mine rhodium plated or polished to spruce it up. The watch and bracelet look good! Gold is soft and it will scratch.
